Affiliate disclosure: how this site is funded

How to recognize affiliate links

• Buttons labeled “View on Amazon” with the note “Ad” or “paid link”
• Text links marked with an asterisk (*) and the words “(paid link)” directly after the link
• Every page that contains such links shows a short disclosure near the top

Amazon Associates Program

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you click an Amazon link and make a qualifying purchase, we receive a commission from Amazon.

chickencoopheater.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

How we select products

This site is financed by these commissions. We select products by the criteria described under how we evaluate.

• The selection covers only products sold on Amazon. It is not an overview of the whole market.
• Picks rest on documents. They are based on manufacturer documents and public sources rather than product testing, and each figure names its source.
• Our picks are products with manufacturer documentation. A product whose data rests on a seller's statement alone is labeled that way and is never named as the pick.
• No manufacturer pays us for placement. There are no paid awards and no sponsored recommendations.
• We name weaknesses, including those of our picks, and several pages recommend buying nothing.

Trademarks

Brand and product names are trademarks of their respective owners. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers named on it, or by Amazon beyond its participation in the Amazon Associates Program.

Prices

We do not show Amazon prices because they change constantly. You will see the current price and delivery time on Amazon after you click. The product cards show only a coarse price class in words: budget, mid-range or premium.
